Introductory Post

Hello and welcome to our blog.  I hope over the coming years this blog will provide my current and future patients with valuable information on the services, products and current promotions available at my eye clinic, as well as discussing new research and developments in the world of eye care that may be of interest to you.  The field of eye care is constantly evolving and progressing, and it is my goal to be constantly be improving the level of service and product mix we offer.  That is why I have recently introduced low vision services at  my clinic.  As the population in Canada ages, it is unfortunately going to mean an increase in the number of people that will have to deal with visual impairment.  Low vision services allow us to give patients the opportunity to maintain a certain level of independence, increase participation in hobbies and in activities such as reading, with the use of low vision aids.  I have invested in low vision aids of top quality German manufactured low vision aids that I can offer to my patients suffering from vision loss.  My experience in just 2 weeks of offering this service has been very rewarding personally, as I know I have been able to improve these patients quality of life.
